JEWELLERY / The jewellery-objects are made with the lost wax technique. This sculptural process allows to obtain metal figures by means of a mold that is made from a prototype traditionally modeled in beeswax, plaster or other material. The works have a strong relationship with antique jewelry such as Pre-Columbian or Egyptian. At the same time the representations are mystical and dreamlike closer to Greek and Roman mythology.
For the manufacture of objects a wax model is used. This previous model is surrounded by a thick layer of a refractory material that solidifies; once hardened, it is put in a furnace, which melts the wax figure, exiting through holes created to effect and, instead, subsequently injected the molten metal, which takes the exact shape of the model. To remove the figure it is necessary to remove the mold.

SCULPTURES / Sculptures made with the wood carving technique, material that remains clearly visible on the work through chisel marks, cracks or knots. The work process leaves traces through blanks or chips that contrast with polished areas. In both works a single block of totem wood has been used that recall popular art and refer to medieval carving techniques.
The human figure forms the central axis of the pieces, two anonymous women with no expression in their faces standing in front of the viewer.
"Femme 1", 2020 / Pine wood and acrylic paint, 76 x 22 x 13 cm.
"Femme 2", 2020 / Pine wood and acrylic paint, 75 x 20 x 14 cm.
CERAMICS / Pieces that investigate how to convert one's language applied to different techniques and surfaces. Translating the same iconography into volume, using ceramic, glass or sculpture.
Ceramics worked with red clay, engobe, enamel, vinegar binder, gold dust and third fire technique. The third fire technique consists of the use of oils and vinegars on pieces once they have been glazed. Pigments used let us make more precise brushstrokes on vague backgrounds, as they are mixed with different greasy binders. Depending on the binder used, brushstrokes change in opacity, sharpness or density.
